    Hi,

I have space for up to a 900mm gas hob and would like at least five burners and a SS finish.

From research, the typical quality makes (Neff etc) are £500ish for a standard gas hob, nothing special. I’d like something more attractive.

Flush hobs are attractive but this often doubles the price (at least), for example: Barazza Lab 1PLB5 is around £1200. http://www.barazzasrl.it/en/prodotto/90-cm-lab-built-in-and-flush-hob-4/

THere’s some middle ground in Fisher and Paykel, and also Foster. For instance:

Any experiences of Foster? F&P? ANd even the Barazza model above (might be persuaded).

Or any other attractive models that people have seen/installed?

    Thank you!

The F & P one looks very attractive. The only advice I can offer is that whatever gas hob you decide on be sure the controls are to the side and NOT at the front. Far less chance of them getting damaged or interfered with. 😉
