AW23 Soap Drawer

Brand new machine installed 3 weeks ago and during fill the soap drawer comes forward slightly and leaks out the front, not every time, water pressure is not high and no mains water repairs done in the street customer also insists she is not over dosing with detergent.

Now I’ve been out and I can’t find a fault with it, the drawer is not a tight fit when pushed in and there is no definitive final click or positive feel like it is in fully, checked one of the damaged ones I have here and they are exactly the same as well so I am asking you guys if you have had this before, I’ve checked the forum and only thing I can find on dispensers is about high pressure and the internal leak but not about this, I know it sounds like high pressure but it is definitely not high.

Any advice, help appreciated as I might have to give her a refund as she is not happy bunny 😥

Just a thought is it level?

Is it worth unscrewing the front feet so it tilts back slightly?

Hi Don, thought of that but it’s in the open and they would see it leaning back, but if all else fails might have to try it !!

Not got a clue Dave, it’s the only one I’ve ever heard of.

Can certainly get you a full soap box if you want?

Please Ken, at least I can try that before I go down the refund route, can you get me an internal box and a drawer assembly for it?

Just to update the thread I fitted the new soap box and it was a much tighter fit when you pushed the drawer in, called the customer and all is ok so far so hopefully problem resolved 🙂
