AWG320/4 Whirlpool N/D/A door lock?

No drum action. during spin or wash cycle.

I ran a wash programe so as to fill the machine, the water level was fine. but n/d/a.

At this point i could open the door, with power on and water in the drum 😕

The machine pumped the water as it should, no blockages.

The motor tested good, and the module board had no visable defects.

Surely the door should stay locked, until the bi metal strips cool down after power off? I didnt have a replacement door lock to try.

Thought I would ask before ordering one as its friday.

Any Ideas? thanks…

some of these machines certainly drain without door locking, as for the nda i would take a good look for broken wires to motor and the connections of wires to motor plug.
