Had a nasty one turn up. Did some work for a customer – quite bit of work on multiple items. Final bill came to just under £200. Paid up by cheque. Keep in mind nice house, nice car, well spoken, even nice kids. Absolutely over the moon with the work carried out. Promised to recommend me to her friends etc.
Cheque bounced 😈 Been trying to get my money for a month – phone calls & warning letters. Now having to do this one through the small-claims court 😡

Thanks – at least I won’t have to waste time & spend time driving & parking etc at the court doing the paperwork.
Before I forget, a happy xmas & a healthy, prosperous new year to all within UKW

” Whats that for mister, whad’yer doin mister, why aren’t you speaking to me mister, ” then the little blighters start poking around in your toolbox whilst mummy dear keeps saying “don’t do that” and they take no notice of her,…….. carefully closing the toolbox lid on the fingers usually works. 😈
reminds me of the day this dimwit of a child about 13-14 years kept picking up my megger, after I asked him to put it down for the third time I decided to show him how it worked. Hold these two wires young man I said.:zap::twisted:

Further to my earlier e-mail, got judgement & my money.
Did it all on-line – fuss, minimal time lost 😀

Ever wanted to hit a biddy?
“When are you in?”
“Oh, all the time.”
“Sweet, how’s this afternoon?”
“I’m going shopping!”
“All afternoon?”
“All afternoon!”
“Right… How about tomorrow afternoon?”
“That’s no good, I’m at the hair dressers.”
“All afternoon?”
“All afternoon!”
“What time are you going there?”
“I leave around 12.”
“And what time will you be back?”
“Oh, about 5.”
“… How’s tomorrow morning?”
“That’s no good, my daughter is taking me out.”
“When are you in?”
“Oh, all the time.”

Yesterday a guy who’s english was very poor came into the shop to by an appliance, picked a lovely recon dryer paid and delivered that afternoon. Next day his two house mates come in asking why we didn’t install the washing machine and you can guess the rest but he has a washer now!
