Hi, my washine machine comes up Service and a red light when i try to start a cycle
    its a AWO/D 4305
I have removed the drain pipe and removed a few socks etc that were stuck around what looks to be an element or something, and there is definately nothing else there, but it still comes service
When i go for a 30 degree quick wash, you hear the washer try to drain, then upon the fill part it just stops and says Service
    any idea’s ??
I’m thinking either the motor cause it doesnt Move an inch
or the Water inlet pump thing as that (even when i disconnect the two hoses that go to the powder drawer and start the washer doesnt seem to be allowing any water through….
Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

    I HAVE TRIED ………
Unjamming the Big black rubber pipe that comes from the drum to the pump out pump.
Unscrewing the Filter place at front of washer and checked in there
Checked All wiring was still plugged in.
Filled washer with water and tried pumping it out (That still works) (Drain)
Removing hoses from water inlet pump and switching on washer for a quick wash cycle (No water came through)
Tried normal and gentle spin (comes up service)

Please if anyone can help me to determine what it could be, i am assuming it must be the motor or the water inlet pump. but any help would be appreciated save me buying the wrong part.
    thanks….

it could be any manner of electrical components , have you checked the motor , power to machine off plugged out , remove the back metal cover and remove the belt from the drum to motor , is the drum spinning ? can you spin the motor pulley by hand ? check motor brushes for wear , check heater element for continuity
