I won’t be around for a couple of days as I have an appointment with a surgeon at the local hospital today to remove a small growth in my bladder which will mean me staying in overnight.

On my birthday as well 😆

Thanks both.

Back home having had the growth removed. Surgeon had to cut in deeper than originally thought to make sure they got the whole tumour and didn’t leave anything behind.

Just have to wait now for about four weeks for results and if any further treatment is required.

Case of fingers crossed.

Good news 🙂 going away Tuesday for a Turkish summer for 12 nights. Will help us sort our heads out after a rubbish summer. Been in and out of hospital a few times had all sorts of scans and biopsies taken. Long and short of it I do have bladder cancer but thankfully it hasn’t spread anywhere else.

Going to start immunotherapy on return if it works then great if not then major surgery in new year to remove bladder, prostate and glands, that’s the not so good news as I will not be around for a few months.

Onwards and upwards one bit at a time.

hospital visit on wed found a poss tumour in my bowel. go for a ct scan sunday and they will review my case next wed
will need surgery to remove at some point soon as its blocking my bowel cant say when or how long I will not be able to help but hopefully not for long
you may have to pardon any posts I make while on morphine but you are used to things like that from Martin

don’t know what it will do for my business as I am the only external engineer but health has to come fist.
will be around as long as I can before and as soon as I can after any surgery.

Bloody hell Dave, best wishes with that as that’s a bolt out the blue.

And yes, health first for sure.

But I do think Martin needs morphine, at times it’d perhaps help him more than much else. 😉
