Very sad to hear that Dave, I don’t do the prayer thing but wishing you all the very best . A sense of humour is often a very good thing in these circumstances.

well first full day out of hosp, only just logged on for first time
really tired at the mo but as weeks go on should get more stamina as I recover
all signs good so far tumour out completely although par of my bladder had to be removed. no sign of spread to lymph nodes so looks good for remission
going to do chemotherapy as a hit it as hard as we can plan so if there are any other poss rogue cells it should mop them upwill be on and off as I get stronger but got at least 5 weeks off work before I decide if to go back

Hi Dave
Good to know you are out and the surgery by the sound of it has been successful.
Hope the chemo does the trick and you are soon up and running again.

Latest round of biopsies a few weeks ago reveal the tumour has not returned and even better news is my cancer cell count has reduced due to the treatment.
This means I get to keep my bits 😀 not so god news I will be having more sessions of the immunotherapy at the hospital this year with three monthly camera reviews, have just started new course of weekly BCG for the next six weeks which are on a Friday, I have asked if I could miss one and have an extra one at the end in order for me to attend the UKW meeting. Just had a phone call to say no not possible. So sadly I will not now be able to make the meeting I’m afraid guys. Gutted to say the least but hey ho.
In the big scheme of things I know it’s right but still doesn’t help the decision 🙁
Sorry Dave but our hat and carnation will have to wait for another year 😉

your health comes first m8 as mine does. been lucky with the meet dates as the chemo is either side of it and the meet is on my week off. All I have to see is district nurse to flush my blood line between chemo,s and I will get them to come in a day early as its not critical.
provided the chemo before does not make me feel ultra tired will be fine. up to now its going well. Just finished round 2 yesterday, feel a bit shakey this morning but it has not stopped my running up and down stairs etc. will have a few dozes on the couch later and I will be fineDave
