Not actually been out to this yet, customer has ripped door seal by jamming the door with some clothing hanging out.

I thought it was a Whirlpool but having ordered the part it seems it is an Antonio Merloni/Servis machine. 😥

What sort of a task is the door seal change on these, will the cabinet front come off?

    No!

Not too bad a job in fact. Access to the clamp ring on the drum isn’t too bad and the dryer ducting pipe is fiddly but OK. (part of the ducting is clamped on as well as hooked on if I recall correctly?) I think these Merloni jobs also have a drain spout connected? A simply Debor stick-up for that though. 😉

I noticed the little spout at the bottom of the new seal, why do the always use these on machines with fixed fronts. 👿

Dead easy to fit provided you lie the machine on it’s back of course (not meant as a teaching Grannie sucking eggs by the way 😉 ) 😀

Enjoy the fun of it all Jim….!! 8)

Have done several on other types of machine as well as refitting the rubber pressure chamber on the old 1850’s without removing front, its just the Debor residue that is left stuck on your fingers that irritates me, its worse than having a finger nail catching. 😆
