ParticipantGot one of these reported banging. Looking at available spares I see I can get 481252878033 “wheel roll” or 481252898003 “shaft front + roll” which looks like it might be the same thing complete with shaft and for less money 😕
Is there something I need to know?

The first part is the drum support wheel and the 2nd is drum wheel c/w shaft.

OK, so they are the same wheel then 😕 , except that if you buy the wheel complete with its attendant shaft you get it cheaper than the wheel on its own?

Front shaft is the push on open “D” type. Rear shaft is a screw on one. Wheels are the same front and back.

Ah, all is revealed. Thankyou Chris. Just one more thing, this one’s under a year old apparently ( they don’t have time for waiting in for WHP to not find the place etc.) and is making a knocking noise. It’s in a holiday let and won’t have had much use but could have been overloaded. Any idea of what I’m going to need to take along to get it in one hit?

Last one I had clonking……….
Useful though – it’s now the inner wheelarches on the Wolseley!

Oh dear 🙁 . Hope I don’t have to make some new mudguards for my bike. Good idea for re-use though.

Went there today, er I mean yesterday. Sorted out dishwasher but can’t figure this dryer. It was noisy but it sounded more like fan or pulley noise. Couldn’t decide which. Didn’t dismantle beyond removing back panel and lower front covers beacause it’s in an alcove on a worktop above the washer with the short mains cable fed through a hole in the worktop to plug beneath. 😡
Maybe I’ll take a saw if/when I go back.
All this in a holiday bungalow which is fitted out so posh there’s not a speck of dust anywhere (except in and around the dryer 😆 ). Must be about £700 a week to stay there. The cleaner told me she’s been told she must leave all the lights on all the time whether or not people are in.
Don’t think I’m going to pull out all the stops for them “snobby geits” 😆 .

The front fan probably lost a few blades or spinning loose on its spline. (Can be viewed from the condenser drawer)

Nope. Checked that already. As well as rear fan. Good try though. Going to look at price of jockeys.
