azc6470 whirlpool dryer

    Hi all, checked this dryer out and it seems the motor is siezed. Took the belt off and turned it on and still wouldn’t turn. Tried to turn the shaft on the motor and it does not turn freely. Is this a common fault with Whirlpool dryers? Unit is only 15 months old. Thanks in advance…

    I’m pretty certain the shaft bearings are easily replaced on these, though I have no clue as to the size of ball race bearing required ( the number is stamped on them anyway) 😀
