KeymasterYep, can’t see why not.
No harm in asking.

Ade, dont start gettin’ to sensitive about the STFU bit. I have had it that often I was thinking of having my Surname changed to it.
With regards CDSL I have more reason than most for not wanting them involved because I’ve seen how they work up close.
In a nut shell, they only like playing the game, if they own the ball.
That said, I’ve had to bury my own personal feelings on several occasions for the greater good of the trade, when we have tried to work with them on things like, Training initatves, Trying to drag Dasa out of the dark ages, Detergent technology training etc.
Easyest thing is to put you in charge of asking them if they want to be involved with the WTA. Dont badger them though and dont be surprised if you get blanked by them.
I can’t see why they would want to be just another associate member of the WTA when they already have a controling interest in DASA.
Some people say that this is largely due to the fact, that they are the current chairmans biggest work provider but I’m sure that Walter doesn’t let this fact influence him in any way :rolls:

I had a thought today ,is there any merit in investigating Diaries ,nothing fancy just an embossed WTA logo on an A5 diary, and maybe some artwork for the ISE range on the inside ,or part way through.
Raises the profile for very little work on our part .
now whether we would sell them ,or follow the same principle as the ID cards -1st one free etc I don’t know.
And to recoup the costs maybe a supplier would like to sponsor the cost and have there details written large inside ?

KeymasterWorth looking into and easy as we have a friendly local printer that does a fair bit of work for us, so we get decent prices. 😉
Can you remind me when David’s back after the 19th?

KeymasterI’ll cost it and see what it’ll run us first.
In principal though, no issue.
Is there any issue with us seeking sponsorship to offset costs?

Checked today.
We may be a bit late to have them done on time I’m afraid. Apparently, like booking Christmas nights out, if you dont’ do it way in advance then you’ve little chance as they pretty much all come from Chine and Taiwan. Good innit, British industry? 😕
I am awaiting more info.
