    Hi,
Doing my accounts and see Lloyds are charging over £300 for a few cheques and DDs a month, not even a page on the statement.
Been with them as personal since a teenager (long time)but this is getting to me now. I will write and see if they are flexible
Any recommendations for a good bank with reasonable charges? I think free banking has disappeared now.

    Re: Banking

Have been with Santander for ages now. Fixed monthly fee of £15 no matter how many cheques are banked.

I use Santander because of their free banking for life. I opened the account 4 years ago, Santander still comes out good deal with those small monthly fee.
