Base Element – Delonghi ESM-465ST

I think the base element on my oven doesn’t seem to be working.

The top element and the grill work fine but it takes a while for food to cook which makes me wonder.

I know a replacement base element can be bought but I can’t find any instructions on how to replace it yourself. Are there any available, can someone help, or do I have to get a qualified engineer to call out to repair it (at great cost)?

Please help.

I think that you need to get into the back of the cooker to get it out IIRC.
