    Hello,

I wonder if anyone could be so kind as to recommend a basic washing machine for an elderly man?

He is in early stages of dementia, so it needs to be simple to operate, no bells & whistles programmes, a quick wash programme would be handy.

Without being insensitive, I’m not too concerned about longevity of the machine.

The size of the available space is W 59.5, H 87, D 59, so I think that narrows it down somewhat.

I think the main concern is simple to operate, so no wifi or electronic selectors, I think a simple dial selector would be best.

Hoping someone can give me a few suggestions.

    Many thanks 🙂

    Hi

Your sizes are pretty much standard.

I would take a look at the Beko WTG620M1W. It’s as basic as you can get at a fair price, spares are reasonably priced as well.

The other choice in my book would be the Bosch WAB28161 better build with a two year warranty, spares are a little higher priced but worth the extra you pay for the machine.

    HTH 🙂
