bauknecht dishwasher

Hi help required…..again.
Bauknecht dishwasher model GCX5521 slim built in. Other numbers on the label are 854822015710 and 990238008171.
Problem: set on rinse only, o/let pump comes on, fills for 8 secs then pump comes on! And that`s it….But…..Things you might need to know: I know the tube heater element measures through, o/let pump pumps, p/swt clicks if blown into,i/let hose is the type with the solenoid at the tap end, wash motor is not seized, no humming so cap seems, checked wiring loom in door at the bottom and that`s seems to be ok. And so when it mucks up I get (left to right)the first 3 function lights flashing out of a 5 possible function lights- in other words, 3 flash and 2 don`t. Anyone got any idea? Think this m/ch is a Whirlpool and so had a look at w/pool f/codes but only mentions start light flashing, count the flashes etc…which doesn`t seem to apply to this m/ch

Ah slight problem! Forgot to remember to write the flashing/ none flashing lights properly….does help!
so what was written is correct BUT the 5th light is on but not flashing. So in conclusion I have 5 function lights. from left to right I have 3 lights flashing, 4th light unlit, and the 5th light on (with no flash). There are two other lights as a pair separate which are the r/aid and salt lights which should be ignored. Sorry I hope this helps.
I`m hoping to go back today because I think this may be a weirdo soap disp solenoid fault as ridiculous as it sounds, fingers x`d like Smeg stuff suffers from.

Thanks for reply- wasn`t aware there was a flow meter as special hose goes directly to water dist chamber but academic since she`s phoned up and says she`s buying a new one this afternoon- m/ch has been out of action because it went wrong 12 months ago so the story transpires, now it`s Party Time this Saturday…. ( strewth Charlene!) so she wanted it fixed- Australian babe….Cor!…but with the disadvantage of there`s not much hope in the grey matter dept!!
