    I have a Bauknecht GSX4756 8546 756 15310 or 330205 006087 which has suddenly died on me!!!!! 🙁

When pressing start the machine sounds like its starting and after a few moments the green start light begins to flash a constant steady flash (this keeps going until I hold down the start button for 5 seconds which then seems to stop the programme). There is no water coming into the machine either although I have checked the water supply to the machine and the pressure both of which are fine.

Please help hands not used to washing up manually 😆

Continuous flash is normally a single flash and this would indicate a faulty NTC. Accessed from the underside of the machine.
The fault codes are only a guide for the engineer and there is a possibility that there is something other than the NTC wrong.
If your not confident on carrying out a repair, click on repairs@ on the left of the page to find an engineer near you.

Thanks for replying so promptly, but what is an NTC and where is it on the machine? 🙄

    Thanks again 🙂

The NTC is the temperature sensor. NTC is Negative Temperature Co-efficient – the higher the temperature, the lower the resistance. As DP has said, it’s fitted underneath in the bowl of the machine.

If you don’t know how to test this component properly or safely, you must get professional help – click the link below.

    Power off if investigating.
