hi everyone, Ive had this oven for about 2yrs now still mint condition as we look after it very well.. Recently though the oven has been switching itself of when left on for a shortwhile above 180 f , this is not a good sign coming up to christmas and all. Could it possibly be the oven sensor that normally sits behind the rear plate of the oven at fault. If so where would I get a spare coz ive looked practically everywhere on the web and the last resort would be the manufacture themselves which I believe to be whirlpool/bauknecht/ignis………..I think! Help meeeeeeeeeee…. please!

    Parts are through Whirlpool.

    Safety thermostat is p/no 4819 282 28538 @ £24.92
    Oven thermostat is 4819 271 29032 @ £37.50

Prices plus VAT and carriage – Dave Conway should be able to organise them for you.

You need to find out where the fault actually lies, if you are not confident using test equipment, I would suggest checking in the Directories section for a UKW engineer in your area.

Whatever you do, pull the plug first.

    Regards,
