Bauknecht WAE8987 washing Machine – Motor Fault ?

    Has anybody ever come across a similar fault to the one below?

    Bauknecht washer – not turning – F7 fault.

    removed motor and one carbon was A1 the other totally worn down.
    After replacing both carbons motor works but you can see sparks/arcing from one side of the motor on spin.
    Does this sound like a motor fault or the modual?
    never seen this fault before, any help would be gratefully recieved.

    Armature on its way for sure. Motor 4812 361 58148 – £105.97 list 😯 .
