    Hi all,

When using my Baumatic B187SS-B electric single oven, every so often it will lose power for a couple of seconds (clock goes off as well), then comes back on (clock comes back on and is NOT reset, and any timer I had on it carries on as normal).

I’m not expecting to be able to fix this myself if it is anything in the oven itself, but just wanted to check beforehand in case it could be something simpler like a fuse.

    Any help appreciated, thanks.

    Neil.

I would firstly check (if its on a socket) that the plug is fully in socket or that the socket and the plug arnt burning out check the pins of the plug for signs of arcing if its wired to the wall then i would check the connection there and the isolater switch. If thats ok it could be the internal cut out at the back of the cavity inside the appliance that needs renewing.

    Thanks for the reply.
It’s plugged into wall so will check plug, what do you mean by arcing?

arcing means black burn marks on one of the plug pins
