    Hi All,
A bit of an odd one,

I have a customer who we have replaced the terminal block, cooking fan and elements in the above oven.

All was well on test until i turned the selector for the main oven and the main RCD tripped.

When reset the oven worked ok except when the main oven is turned off and the thermostat is at 0 (oc) the thermostat neon is lit.

If the thermostat is turned up (cc) then the light goes off.

When you select the oven function to use the oven all is ok and the neon reacts correctly.

The RCD does not trip every time the selector is turned and between visits the customer has had none of the issues found on the testing.

It seems that this fault only occurs when the oven is warm and then goes when is cool.

I have looked for faulty components but to be honest I’m shooting in the dark. I assume I’m looking for an earth leak somewhere but we all know where assumptions lead to.
I know there’s not going to be one simple answer but If anyone can point me in the correct direction then I would be grateful.
As always any help would be appreciated
    Anthony
