Baumatic BDI631 not heating water and making a clicking noise

Hi , our dishwasher is “reluctant” to heat the water.

On a tip from a forum I have, by adding water in from a jug during the cycle, got it to heat the water, but without such intervention it just runs cold (on a few occasions it has got hot without intervention).
Also there is an intermittent clicking noise (if it was an older generation it would be like the gear wheel slipping round on the program timer, I do have recording of the noise ).
I have recently installed a new pressure switch because the machine was overfilling and leaking out the bottom of the door. The heating problem started immediatly after doing that.
Can anyone advise on this ?
