Hi
Put it on a wash then after it has filled with water pour another 3/4 ltr into it and then close the door and see if it heats up then.

Hi.
Then it will be the one shot stat in the base. If you look at the back whilst it is washing the water should be pumped up the rear tube. If it’s not then it may be the diverted flap on the side of the motor which can be removed if you don’t want or use the 1/2 load option.
You won’t easily see the button stat if you don’t remove the rear panel and base panel..But remember… Unplug it !!

Hi Bryan
Thanks for that
I Have removed the base again but still can’t see anything that looks like the ones offered for sale. There is a small bullet shaped sensor on the outlet held in by 2 small screws.Graeme

Hi
I’m not in front of it so can’t see what you see. The cut out is normally screwed into the base or on the back cross member. also if there is not enough pressure going through the pipework from the motor through a black rubber hose with a microswitch attached then goes unto the top spray arm..

Hi Bryan
I have attached a pic of the probe, have you any idea if this could be it?
Thanks

Hi Graeme,
Did you ever get this resolved as I have the exact same problem?
I purchased the official replacement before even opening the machine as I was confident it was a thermostat issue. However, the part that I bought looks is the blue one in the picture, but like you, the only thing I can find that looks like it could be the thermostat is the other one which is identical to what you pictured.
Can you help me out at all with how you got this sorted?
