Baumatic BDIN 1L38B not working – three lights

Hi,

A Baumatic BDIN 1L38B dishwasher purchased in October 2020 has stopped working.

The machine is not responding to any commands except for off and on commands and three lights flash when any button is pressed, the 3h, 6h and 9h lights.

It has been turned off and on at the mains and the problem persists.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this please?

the light flash but is there a sequence to it like 3 flashes then a pause and then repeat
if yes its a fault code

is the door opening and closing properly

could be the door lock is in the closed position but the door is open. A lot of dishwashers are not able to select a programme in this condition

The door appears to be opening and closely with no problem.

I have not been able to find anything conclusive online apart from the following suggestions:
– flashing lights indicate that the water inlet tap is turned off

I also called the customer service but they were not willing to share any information on the phone and wanted me to book and pay for a technician visit

Hi [USER=”57991″]turnyourtvoff[/USER] – just wondering how you resolved your dishwasher issue. I seem to have the exact same issue with the same model dishwasher, bought May 2020.

Be grateful if you could let me know whether you managed to resolve the fault, got a repair done, or just replaced the p.o.s.

Just had one of these with exact same problem. After lots of trial and error managed to clear it by holding express button and clock symbol at the same time for a few seconds. So guess it was child lock. Hate these rubbish dishwashers. Doesn’t even have an anti flood device. Just corrugated plastic cover on base like the Hoover washing machines.
