    Select program, m/c starts – pump working somewhere but m/c does not fill. 23 shown in control panel window. is this likely to be just the inlet valve/pressure switch or something more involved? can’t find the error code anywhere on the forum.

    Faults are indicated as “E–” on these Chinese machines; most commonly E4 – leak into base.

    I cannot suggest why the display should show 23.

    Thanks for that, this is a strange one – my niece’s machine, but not her choice, it came with the flat. 🙁

    Actually been to see the m/c last night – the display is actually showing 21. According to Baumatic Tech. support, this is just a residual temp. indication. He has provided me with a reset sequence to try, so that will be attempted tonight.
