I wonder if someone can help me. I have a semi integrated Baumatic BDW2W dishwasher that has recently stopped clicking through its programme. I also realised that the water is not heating up (its a cold fill as far as I know) and I don’t know if the problem is that the water isn’t heating up so the programme inst clicking round or vice versa. I have been quoted £90 for someone to come and look at it 🙁 so just wondered if anyone can give me any advice or help in any way – I would really, really appreciate it.

Could be the heater,if you give your area there are engineers on here who may be local to you at a reasonable rate.

oh yes sorry – I’m in Peacehaven which is about 6miles or so outside of Brighton. I did a search on here for Engineers but it said there was none in my area. Would a heater be hard to replace?

You would need to be a reasonably competent diy,also the heater needs checking with meter to establish that it is open circuit(knickered).heater is visible when door is open and is fixed through the base of the wash chamber so you need to get to the fittings so lay machine on LH side and remove base and you will find connectors for heater and the securing nut.
