all I can get this hob to do is come up L in all four displays unless you hold down the on/off then it comes up ER03. So I guess the question is what is error 3? Someone has also glued the hob in place so I’m a bit nervous of prizing out a glass top hob. so i would like to get my facts straight before i warn the landlord that i may destroy his hob before i can take it apart. Thanks in advance.

OK I found it out for myself. It’s a child lock. You can get info to unlock and disable here http://files.baumatic.com/usermanuals-uk/bf15.5.pdf
