Baumatic BFD47SS Problem

We bought this dishwasher less than a year ago, and recently it has sometimes started to sit and ‘buzz’ for a while after the initial rince cycle. At first we assumed it was heating the water up a bit before the full cycle starts.

But today we have turned it on and after the ‘buzz’, it then went silent for a bit, then started another rince cycle for a while and stopped, then it rinced a bit more, then buzzed for a bit, then rinced a little more and now its just sitting there doing nothing.

I’ve checked the filter and it is clear, there is nothing blocking the spinny arm and all the trays are pushed fully home etc.

Anyone got any ideas before we call Baumatic?

It sounds as if the circulation motor may be failing to me, or possibly the drain pump.

Either way, I think you’ve carried out and eliminated what you can, a call to Baumatic methinks is required 😉
