ParticipantHi Folks, odd one here customer complained that the dishwasher would run from between 2 minutes and 30 minutes and then would come up with an error E002 and the time on the display would not count down. checked pump, element insulation and the usual subjects. ordered a control module (which took 2 months to get) fitted it, appliance filled up heated and pumped out when I tested it. Customer called me back 10 days later stating it did not complete the next wash he put it on. Now when you set it on any program it the pump comes on for 4 minutes the display does not count down then it aborts band flashes up E002. back to square one. any clues anybody, any service info. I have tried talking to Baumatic, when you finally get through they are not very helpful. Customer is now getting a little impatient (I do not blame them). Thanks Neil

According to user manual e2 is extended drain time. If the program allows 120 sec for drain and it takes 119 all is good. However if it take just 2 seconds more you have e2 as its outside the criteria set on the PCb. I’d be looking for partial blockage somewhere on the drainage maybe even the sink? Or the sink spigot

First thing I checked, the only thing it actually does do is empty. that still does not account for why the display is not counting down. Also what tells the dishwasher it is empty, I presume that would be the pressure switch and I have checked that as it is a simple open circuit and closed circuit pressure switch I have even tried bypassing it and it makes no difference. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Best Regards Neil

There are usually two pressure switches. On simple 2 wire job. This is for overfill and activates the pump if water lever inside gets too high. The other may have 3 or 4 wires. This is the level sensor/switch. The heater would normally also run through this. B

You would think so, I searched all over the appliance and could not locate it. It does not help when the customer is sitting on your shoulder. Regards Neil
