It’d be better to use a photo sharing site – eg Flickr (many others exist) then all forum members will be able to see it.

ModeratorAs tubafan says use an external site google pic or the like then most of these sites give you the option to post a public link so we can see it

ParticipantToday my new switch arrived, great I thought, it was a like for like, carefully removed it ensuring all of the terminals were fitted in the correct position, tested the lower oven and it worked, great I thought, cooking tea and noticed that the with the temperature switch set at 150 the light that indicates the temperature has been reached never went out, the oven is getting very hot though. Any advice appreciated although I think it may be something may have been affected when the selector switch burnt out.

Moderatorwell you either have a wiring error or the stat is faulty
if you turn the stat you should hear it clicking as the contacts close and open

ParticipantThe stat only clicks at around the 50 mark on the switch after the oven has been turned on for approx 10 minutes, it doesn’t click at all at room temp (oven cold) unlike the top oven stat that clicks at room temp

Moderatorsomtimes they dont click at room temp
set stat to 50 degrees or so
turn oven on
is light on with stat at zero ?
