    Good afternoon all,

Wondering if someone can advise on a fault on the above oven.

The main fan oven is really inefficient; i.e. takes far too long to heat up, and will not reach maximum temperature.

I have tested the circular element, which gives a very high resistance, and appears in good order.

So, I renewed the thermostat assembly, which has improved the speed the oven heats up at, but still does not reach maximum temp.

Is there a separate control unit/module that I am unaware of, or should I renew the element?

I have also checked the element when operational, and it does not get red hot.

    Any advice appreciated.

is there an element under the oven floor ?
has the shelves or base been coated in foil ?
Does the setting use the upper element as well as the circular one ?

    Hello chezza,

Yes, there is an element under the oven floor, although I don’t know if it, or the upper element is used in conjunction with the circular fan oven element.

Also not sure of upper and lower element condition, as I didn’t test them due to circular element not getting red hot.

Shelves or base not coated in foil.

    Regards,
