Hi I have a baumatic bt2450 range cooker with 90cm oven yesterday when I turned it on it lit but as soon as I let go of the control dial it went out as I turned the oven on I did hear a slight pop when I tried again the oven would stay lit if I held in the dial any idea on which part I need to get will it be the thermostat? if so can anyone let me know

it will most likely be a thermocouple fault

is this going to be a costly repair and is it easy to do for some one who is quite handy at mending washers and fridges!!

should not be a costly part but from our point of view we cant advise on a gas part that should be fitted by a gas safe engineer
