Baumatic BTD1 suddenly stopped working

Hi there, not sure of the etiquette on this forum so I’ll just plug away and you can all correct me later no doubt. 😀

I have a Baumatic BTD1 integrated tumble dryer that has been working just fine for a while now. Last night it just stopped working altogether. I was wondering if there are any common faults or issues with this make/model of dryer that could be causing the problem or if any of you have any ideas what the problem could be.

The problem couldn’t be simpler, I load the machine, close the door and nothing happens. I’ve tried turning it off at the switch and that’s not the deal and the fuse doesn’t appear to have blown.

this seems to be a white knight dryer in disguise

have you looked at the door
there is a probe that goes into a hole to start the dryer. these get snapped of if you catch them
also try the socket to make sure it works
