Baumatic BTWM5 Trips electrics, now unable to set program

This machine is only a couple of years old.

The customer said it tripped the electrics a couple of times now it doesn’t work.

There is no earth fault, when I switch on the door interlock activates but the display stays blank, the LED’s stay off and nothing will start.

My can only assume the control board has gone but it would be unusual to trip the electrics.

Has anyone come across this before with the Baumatic?

If there’s a hole in the heater it might only trip when there’s water in the drum. You could check this by manually filling. You need to trace the cause of failure before changing the board.

The machine had stoped mid-cycle with the water in so that rules that out.

I received an email earlier that says the door interlock would cause it. Not unknown on some other makes.
