Baumatic BWD121 price of parts

I’ve just been quoted trade £67+vat for the outer door frame by my supplier. That seems a ridiculous price for just a piece of a door. It’s in a block of flats with all the same appliances and I fitted one last year so I’m sure I’ll be doing more. Is there anywhere you can get parts for these things at a more realistic price.

if its a bwd12.1, then the parent fagor bits are about 1/3rd price from connect…

brilliant thanks!! I was given pt no. BMTXL74G000A0 at 67+vat, I gave them the number you posted BNT52X2172 and got it for 44+vat. Still expensive for a plastic outer frame but at least I can make a bit of money on the job now. Thanks again

i think it must be to recoop what they were paying out for the 5 year warrantys…

a few months back i had to look up a rim for a f/s fagor, was £25-30ish trade. had a quick peek and already had identical part that i had got from connect for £5-something 3years ago when they first took on the contract… :rolls:

search on this site is a valuable tool, just stumbled on this gem and saved myself about £60 in spares 😆

now need to try and keep a straight face as i tell my cust the plastic door fraame for a baumatic is £101 😳
