    Baumatic BT6.1GL
Does anyone have a wiring diagram or info on how to connect a new switch bank to this cooker hood. Should have been a simple like for like swap but i did a silly thing and disconnected the old one thinking that I’ll just connect the same colour wires on the switch to their matching colours in the hood. I then discovered I’m left with a purple wire on the switch with only the brown live feed wire to the lights on the hood left to connect. When the purple wire is connected to this it all works correctly except the fan only works when the light is on. I’ve looked and scratched my head over this but can’t work out what’s not right.
On the switch there is six wires. White, blue, black, brown, red and purple.
On the hood terminal block there’s a white wire plus blue neutral wire from power cable that the White switch wire connects to. There’s the brown live power wire that the brown switch wire connects to. There’s a red, and black wire that the red and black switch wires connect to. That leaves the blue neutral wire from light to connect to the blue wire on switch and then the brown live to light left for the remaining purple wire (the only colour left that doesn’t match).
Probably made this sound over complicated but any help would be much appreciated. I can only be one wire out somewhere.

    Thanks
