Baumatic D/W Door Opening Automatically

Hi Guys

Got this integerated dishwasher BDW45.1.The door does not seems to hold.It was ok for over a year and this problem suddenly popped up. I have checked the springs and titghnend them but it still opens half way through the wash(sometimes before).

Could it be the door switch?

I checked it and it is on its position and does not move but i will still check it and let you know

Two other things to look for.

Check that the top basket is going all the way home. A broken basket wheel could be your only problem.

If not then it could be a bent door hinge. I think this machine is one of those ‘orrible Chinese things. The hinge is made of tin-plate.

Yes Bob, it is metal hinge which I thibk cannot be changed.But I will have a look again tommorow and see.

But does that mean that the dishwasher is condemned?
