    hi all been to look at a baumatic dishwasher today. original fault was water solonoid. but when the machine runs it gets to the end of the programe bleeps flashes all its lights then nocks out the rcd. any clues ? heater dosent show as faulty using my megger tester. but machine is 6 years old


    BAUMATIC MODEL BFD45W

    SERIAL 2210212300007

    only tripping the rcd in the fusebox. breaker stays ok.
    the megger tester shows circulation motor going to earth ? but motor runs fine ?

    It’s a Haier, so anything is possible…… Heater or suppressor would be my obvious thought. Had a SMEG doing this a couple of years back, literally as it switched off at the end of the cycle – finished up changing the breaker in the consumer unit.

    weird thing is it bleeps and flashes lights at end or near end of cycle and then trips the rcd
