    Hello all

I work for an estate agency in London. We manage alot of flats in a residential development. All the flats have integrated Baumatic fridges. Recently almost every time we report a problem to Baumatic’s service department, the engineer attends and says:”there’s a leak in the system which is not repairable (or not viable)”. We usually ask Baumatic for a concessionary replacement as they then fit the new appliance and dispose of the old. The flats (and appliances) are between five and seven years old. Does this seem fair or could the engineer be on comission or even just a bit lazy?

    Any comments appreciated.

A system leak at that age seems unlikely, it should have reared it’s head long before the machines reach that age IMO. But there are other failures just as nasty.

Unfortunately have come across this before.

It could very well be an internal leak, lots of the eastern manufacturers favour using poor quality metals that tend to corrode.

I would at least pose the question to Baumatic as to why these `Quality` appliances fail in such similar fashion and age.
