Baumatic intergrated dishwasher BDW1640 – door not closing

Hello everyone,
So this morning the door is no longer closing on our Baumatic BDW1640 intergrated dishwasher. The programme function light is not lit up either so cannot make a selection. The on/off lights are on and lit up so the control strip has electricity…
Any ideas please?

one of the common things that can happen is the door lock moves into the closed position while the door is open. that means the door wont close the last half inch and the programme may no go

you can normally get a piece of old wire coat hanger . loop on one end to protect eyes and a turn the last quarter inch of the other end at 90 degrees. you can then hook this round the closed hook and pull it forward to the open position
