Baumatic oven BAO9038-P

[Oven man]

Has anyone has this problem with steam coming out from top right hand and top left hand door when I roast meats? I tried using the grill function today for chicken wings and there is still steam coming out thru the top right hand door then condensate and form water around the door…can anyone please help??
The builder installed the oven one year ago. The oven man came and said there is no problem with oven! So now the builder coming next week to cut a vent behind oven to allow more space and air behind oven, he said that would help, I am worried that it might be a faulty oven rather than needing a vent behind oven, would appreciate any advice!! Thanks.

There are several models within the Baumatic range that are noted and do have service bulletins for this fault where the seal and hinges are required to be changed.
I would question further and push Baumatic for a resolution.

I did read a similar problem posted back in 2009 in this forum where she also experienced steam coming out like a boiling kettle! Wonder whether she solved her problem? Baumatic did send the oven engineer to check and he came with a new seal, but when he had a look, said the door seal and hinges looked ok to him. Do you think i should go ahead with the builder recommendation to remove oven and cut a vent behind oven, see if that solve the problem? No harm done i guess!
If not, I might have to go back Baumatic again..sigh..
