Baumatic P610SS / P620SS / P630SS Inner Glass Door

Hi

We have the above built in fan oven – not sure which model number as all 3 are on the handbook but I imagine the basic shell is the same.

Only had the oven just over a 1 1/2 years and it hasnt been abused. As we opened oven door tonight the inner glass has come loose. I can see two metal clips or slides at top of door which look as if they feed under door. On one bottom corner where glass is loose I can see soime sort of grey disc which appears to have been the point of weakness as the other corner is firmly fixed.

I know there is an extended 24 month warranty on the cooker but cant remember if I filled in and completed the card for this. Will check with them tomorrow. I was hoping it would have been some kind of fixing screw however….

How can the glass be refixed – is it an easy job? No major deal if I have to get a local independant out but be interesting to know.

Also never used the grill as the smell of burning and smoke appears to be from the light bulb cover which seems to melt when grill is on – its definatly not the smell you get when you turn something on for the first time.
