My BDW5 keeps stopping mid cycle with a rapid beeping sound and all the led’s flashing. Sometimes the two left lights flash alternating with the 2 right lights. Looks a bit like one of those overhead motorway signs with the lights flashing from side to side.
Also it doesnt seem to be washing the residue off the pots in the top tray very well. I have checked all the spinners for blockages and they are clear.
I have read about some Baumatics that they have a flood tray underneath. does mine have this, I cant see anything that looks like one when I look under the machine
Any help would me much appreciated
Regards
Steve
As far as I can tell, this is a Fagor-built appliance. The lights you describe don’t conform to any known error code which I have access to, so observation may be the key. The obvious question if it is running for a while before it faults is does it heat the water? If the dispenser flap has opened, the next step is heat.
Yes if it gets that far it heats the water. I tried it on the 55 deg prog last night and it worked but still only cleaned the bottom tray properly, the stuff in the top tray has a gritty residue on it.
I rang Baumatic tech support and they said the pattern of lights was probably a knackered controller.
Is there anything inside the workings of the machine that could stop it cleaning the top tray properly
thanks for the reply
