Hi, i have been offered the above, I did have one, a B and Q one, and i get the impression they are not too reliable, anyway the seller says that it needs a bracket to fit to the wall, but i have a fireplace and not sure if there is purchase for such a bracket, it is also massive, 46inch. It does look like it would go free standing, unfortunately on FB marketplace, sellers don’t seem to offer much info, and she doesn’t seem to want to get pestered.

You have been offered it on a Facebook selling page! If info is not forthcoming “walk away.” At 46 inches that would be a fire and a surround !!
Be Modern Detroit is a built in without frame electric fire, you would more than likely need a bracket if it was freestanding. If the fire is that unreliable why go for it?

Electric fireplace comes with many types and shapes. You need to select a best model according to your personal preferences, like- freestanding or wall mounting or fireplace with tv stand at good store. Freestanding fireplaces are best option for portability. These are also cost effective and provide sufficient heat to your room. On the other hand, wall mount electric fireplace are best for people with very limited space. Because, they can be recessed into the wall. This type of fireplace are bulky and pricier than the freestanding version. If you’ve sufficient space available in your living room, then you may like the fireplace with tv stand models. They looks pretty cool. I personally own a fireplace with tv center.

thanbks for reply, sadly it is quite common on FB to only get minumum info, and many of the photos are appalling, but prices are much better than say ebay, I have a link here for the item, seller is offering for free, so Its a good deal, she now says you can put it against wall, but best secured. I see its a Detroit, but the surround seems different from their products
