Bearing change on Zanussi IZ16

Hi All .Can anyone give me some advice on changing the bearings in my Zanussi jetsystem IZ16. I have the back /side panel off and been trying to undo the countersunk allen bold but not sure if it is normal thread or lefthand thread. Also any other info would be a help .Could you also recommend a place to get said bearings and seals.

Its a normal thread, taking care not to damage it, give it a couple of hard whacks with a big hammer and a chisel or drift.

I would suggest trying to get the old bearings out first, you would then need to examine the drum shaft etc for damage before ordering anything.

If you can post up the full Pnc number (begins with 914) we can be more specific.

Hi and thanks ,where will i find the number I looked on the back and found nought.Just going to have a go at it now I know what thread it is.

Hi again guys, Product number 914513005/00.
I have now got the pulley off thanks iadom,
So what is the next thing to do.

If you use the search facility and enter “Zanussi AND bearing AND change” in that exact format without the quotes you will get plenty of reading and you may also realise this one is not for the faint hearted.

Hi All. Could anyone help with the right and wrong way the seal goes in.Is it that the flat side of the seal ( the side with the numbers on) faces the drum or does it face the bearing.

The flat side faces out towards the drum.
