Does anyone know what size bearings this machine uses, and where to get a Shaft and Spider seal?

I’m repairing this for a mate, otherwise I would not bother. 👿 What a Pain to work on 😥 .

I used an engine hoist to get the tub out. The designer of this appliance was a moron, or actually believed that a Miele never goes wrong.

    Welcome to the site.
It has just recently become apparent to me that you can get exploded diagrams for this and other Miele machines on Connect Distribution Services Ltd.’s website. You’ll need an account with them of course. However the diagrams don’t give part no’s and although front and rear bearings are listed as available to order they are around the £50 mark ea and no sizes given. As regards shaft, it looks like it will be complete inner drum only. There are a few people on here who do Miele regularly and you will probably get a better answer from one of them when they see your post. Meanwhile, best give the manufacturer a ring if you think you’re going to need the shaft.

only ever done 2 bearing jobs on miele never needed a shaft sure you need one? they take some hammer before the shaft goes. bearing kits from miele have all the seals complete think the kit is about £100-£120 if i remember right there is 2 or 3 seals but they are british made so if you could get them out you might be able to source them yourself cheaper.
Someone with the miele part list might be able to give you correct part numbers
