ParticipantHi all,
I have a relatively new Bosch Avantixx 7 washing machine. Last couple of months I noticed a vibration during the spin cycle. It sounds like something is touching the housing, a kind of rattle.
I checked if anything obvious was wrong but I found nothing.
It also doesn sound like something got stuck inside from the wash, like the metal piece in a bra.
I want to make sure that it is not something I could have prevented or solved myself before calling in the troops (warranty) since that will result in cost for me. I then rather repair it myself.
So to come to my question, have a look at my movies (see links) and tell me what you think. Is this a typical sound of a bearing that is having issues?Movie: spin cycle with load: sound starts at around 1 minute

Movie: spin cycle without load: sound starts at a round 1.5 minute

Sounds to me like the pulley is lose on the back, Went out to a job last week in weymouth and the lady told me she phoned another engineer first to be told over the phone it was the bearings. was just a lose beko pulley.

Hmmm? Sounds to me the drum unit needs replacing under guarantee. Faulty hub in tub moulding causing bearing ‘chatter’ at certain revs.

Hi Guys, thanks for your input. Sounds like I can call in the troops for a warranty job. Will let you know how that ends.

Hi, saw that I did not update my post with the final solution so here it is:
Martin was right. It was something with the bearing moulding that caused chatter at certain revs. So the complete tub was replaced under warranty. Problem solved.
