What is the best method of removing the seal from the spider? Is there some type of adhesive locking it place?

The inner 6205 bearing needs to be replaced and the seal is proving to be a bit of a test. It’s intended that the seal be replaced, but as there is a delivery delay, I may need to re-use the existing seal in the short term. I need to, if possible, remove it without causing undue damage.

    Look forward to your response.

It is usually possible to get the bearing (or at least part of it) out with the seal when drifting out the bearing. If the bearing has broken up it might damage the seal as it comes out. That is probably just a chance you will have to take but you could make up a puller using nuts, a bolt and big washers. You need 2 big penny washers that are a loose fit on the bolt so they can be slid apart eccentrically into the recess in the seal. When in place you can tighten the nut and pull on the bolt. If you use threaded bar instead of a bolt you may then be able to refine the technique using a very big socket or similar cylindrical object. You place this over the threaded bar, add an extra nut and tighten this to pull the seal into socket cavity. The seal is not glued in, only held by the interference fit.
