Beaten by a door seal ZWM616 dishwasher

Anyone got a clue how the lower door seal on this machine is meant to stay on. Office sent me one out for the customer who apparently has already had an engineer out to it (it came off when they opened the door :rolls: ), but I’ve now tried all available ways to fix it on and have drawn a blank.
The old one was already off the door and as I haven’t seen one before I’ve nothing to refer to. Any ideas (or pics :wink:)

the lower door seal is held on to a lip on the stainless steel door, the design is the same as the previous indesit/hotpoint platform. to change it you have to bend the lip out and then squeeze the new one in then squash the lip down again

Ahhhhhh. I was nearly there but I didn’t want to start bending the stainless out cos the customer was breathing down my neck all the time.
