Our machine is only just a year old, it went gaga about 6 weeks ago, we had an engineer come and have alook, he was convinced that it was the pump, as it wasn’t filling, either that or the overflow pan.

Both of which he looked at, while the pan was a little full, he said it was nothing to worry about, the pump ‘seemed’ to be working fine, as he got it to fill, but then it just stopped.

Re-start the cycle, and the machine would sometimes empty, but then nothing, or it would start to fill, then stop.

That, as I said was 6 weeks ago, while i have had little contact from the company, they have finally decided to change the PCB, at no cost to me, because of the wait, if it doesn’t work.

Anybody have any other ideas if this doesn’t, cheers in advance

Was the machine in warranty when the engineer called? If so, they have failed to repair the appliance and you should complain vociferously. It sounds like you have no circulation – pump failure is a common failure on these. Also, note, there should be no water in the under tray (pan) at any time.

    You’ve been had.

Unfortunatly the machine was 3 weeks over the year, so was out of warrenty when it died, otherwise I could have called Beko and got them to send a engineer.

I just wondered if anybody had any thoughts beyond what the current one says, at the end of the day, if changing the PCB doesn’t work, I am left with a machine i can’t use, sitting collecting dust in my kitchen.

I have sent an email to Beko, asking them what there thoughts are, and am awaiting there resoponse.

    Thanks for the help anyway.
