You’re falling into the trap already…….. This is supposed to be a cheap “set you on” to keep you going whilst you sort things out – now you’re spending money on the damn thing after one wash!
If it had chugged away for a few months with it’s (at least) “D” class rating, fair enough, but you really mustn’t spend any real money on it.

Participant£65 on recondtion of the motor bearing of these washers is cheap compared to a terrible budget machine that doesnt rinse properly from the likes of currys or argos.
he says its in really good condition and worth doing up as will continue to out last any other washer.
The drum he says is totally sound, silent in fact, bearings in great condition and the drum is about 5 yrs old perhaps he says its got loads of life in it yet!

Think of it this way, £65 is a lot better than £200 plus for a new machine. Even if it lasts another 6 months you will have gotten your moneys worth.

You can take off what’s left of the door trim and clean off the glue and you’re left with a white door which should look OK, but if you want a trim I think I have still got a new one on a shelf somewhere.

ParticipantThats great thank you.
How much would that be?
I have taken off the clue etc and theres a slight bit of rust under the trim which makes it look a bit untidy.
A new trim would be best!!!

Have you sorted the sticking problem a the G setting?
If my memory serves me right the G programme was called special treatments. If it is, then the timer will normally stop there if you have pressed the right hand button which was for the synthetics cycle giving a slow spin. It’s basically a rinse hold and will always stop there when on synthetics. To get it going again you press the middle button and then the right hand button again. As you do that the timer will advance to the pump out stage.
As I recall, the right hand button was synthetics, the middle button was cottons and the left hand button was for woollens.

Hi,
I’ve found a door trim if you want one although I’m not sure how to send contact and cost details without posting them here as I can’t remember how to do the private message bit.
